Balloon Invasion
Rated 5 / 5 stars March 9, 2008
Excellent
Some general tips for all you people playing the first time.
For the first epic balloon, max out your winged bomber airstike (3) and buy at least one level of building armor. This will allow you to kill the epic balloon in two passes, and survive the first pass.
Don't bother with any buildings other than oil rigs. Oil rigs level you up faster, allowing you to increase your main flak cannon's strength faster. with a maxed out winged bomber, and high leveled flak cannon, you can beat every level, and oil rigs make sure you stay ahead of the ball offensively. Once you max out your flak cannon you can look into offensive buildings if you want.
Some of the different types of badges that will give you extra cash:
Shoot very few shots from your main flak cannon
Call in a lot of airstrikes
Destroy several balloons in a row
Stop balloons from advancing to far across the screen
Stop balloons from dropping to high a number of bombs
Hit a high accuracy percentage with the main flak cannon
Earn a lot of money from oil rigs
Earn a lot of money overall
Generally, refrain from calling airstrikes unless you have to, they become more expensive with each calling. The first airstirke (1) is essentially useless compared to the other two.
Decreased build price isn't worth putting points into.
Buildings become more powerful every minute or so and gain a blue dot on their icon. More blue dots means stronger buildings, which means, more damage, more armor, more production, and in some cases more frequent production. So build structures soon rather than later.
Different colors of balloons do different things, beige balloons move faster, metallic balloons change elevation every time they are hit, etc.
Going back and re-beating levels only adds any points more than your previous total to your score to level you up, so doing the same level over and over again for more points isn't worth it.
You can reset your point allocation if you mess up, so don't worry about experimenting.
Good Luck!
Onslaught 2

Great game
It did have enough features, and good enough presentation to separate it from other, similar defense games. The big problem is, I was able to go 100+ levels with just two turrets, at which point I was pretty much completely unable to advance any further because I wasn't doing enough damage. The balance there is completely messed up.
It isn't really a huge problem, and was probably just a product of my strategy, I loved the game, 5/5
Combos are key, and making strategic use of effect towers and weapons:

I spat my Mountain Dew laughing!
Not really, but if was drinking something, I would have nearly choked on it. You are comic geniuses.

Awesome, as always
I really enjoyed this series as you put it together, the production quality is absolutely fantastic. The ending was a bit lame though, but I don't hold it against you, what you have done is amazing.

Hit and Miss
A lot of the shorts were funny, but a few of them didn't really get me laughing hard. Great presentation though.
